BarDown is a hockey team management app built for beer league players. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use BarDown:

• Name — Used to identify you within your team and display on rosters and stats.
• Email Address — Used to create and authenticate your account.
• Phone Number — Optional. Used as additional contact information on your profile.
• Photos and Videos — Team photos you choose to upload are stored and displayed within the app.
• Messages — In-app messages sent between team members are stored to enable communication features.
• User ID — A unique identifier assigned to your account to link your data within the app.
• Other User Content — Team names, player stats, game scores, roster data, and other content you create in the app.
• Product Interaction — General app usage data such as app launches and navigation, used to maintain app performance.
• Crash Data — Technical crash logs used to identify and fix bugs.

How We Use Your Data

All data collected is used exclusively for app functionality. Specifically:

• To authenticate your account and keep it secure
• To display your team, roster, stats, and game history
• To enable in-app messaging and team invitations
• To store and display team photos
• To improve app stability and fix crashes

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or analytics beyond what is necessary to operate the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, our backend and storage provider. Supabase processes data solely to provide infrastructure services for BarDown. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

BarDown is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
